In Norway one of the most spectacular roads is the Atlanterhavsveien, or the Atlantic Ocean Road. For the fisherman, this area provides both a scenic drive and nice fishing area. The road hops from island to island, with open vistas around, and crosses the tidal current Vevangstrømmen which helps makes the spot a good fishing location.
In driving or fishing here, be careful on the road. Drivers should watch for fishermen walking or fishing on the roadway, and vice versa.
